The word "mindfulness" refers to our innate ability to hold the complexity of our thoughts and feelings in our awareness and maintain our inner equilibrium. Regular practice enables us to access the eye of the storm in turbulent times and enhance our positive experience when the seas are calm and pleasant. In this short guided practice we will use the tool of our attention and our own breath to induce a state of calm awareness.
Bringing our attention to each part of our body we observe our sensations and feelings in the moment. This practice will induce a feeling of calm and rest and bring a refreshed perspective to our present condition.
